A saga is a traditional semi-factual tale told in Scandinavia. Corr Blimey used the fantasy and supernatural elements of this style of storytelling as the basis for this range. Sagas take place over many years and in many different places.
The Saga collection follows the same principles in that it is a multi-seasonal collection with many eclectic elements. Floating lycra chiffons create a ghostly supernatural feeling while the structured cottons and tartan create a foundation of tradition.
The setting for Corr Blimey’s Saga is a windswept forest where not all the creatures are entirely human. The belief in magical creatures helps create the illusion that the models can almost be seen as pixies, wood nymphs or evil banshees.
